Jin Shin Jyutsu (Pronounced Gin Shin Jit-sue) is a profound and disarmingly simple way of tapping into the existing wisdom of the body for the purpose of bringing harmony to our whole being. Jin Shin Jyutsu has a level of complexity that can help with even the most serious of health challenges. At the same time it has a wonderful simplicity and accessibility for the novice interested in applying self-care.

“Unlocking” the wisdom within

Through firm and gentle application of the hands, Jin Shin Jyutsu is applied by a certified practitioner or by ourselves as self-help sequences or ‘flows’.  A "flow" is a series of hand placement combinations (using the ‘safety energy locks’) that stimulates circulation of energy along a given pathway. There are many such pathways in the body, each with a distinct function or essence.

By balancing the flow of life energy in the body we are reminded that we are not separate from nature. We are nature. A deep pulse of perfect harmony is always present within each of us and is part of our divine blueprint. This pulse exists at the deepest level of our being even during times of illness or discomfort. Jin Shin Jyutsu accesses this deep pulse and brings us back into balance. 

A practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu simply assists in the flow of an infinite supply of universal energy.

Jin Shin Jyutsu has a cumulative effect and is compatible as an adjunct to other natural therapies or allopathic medical treatments. It is a powerful support for traditional talk therapies including shock, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
