For many years ... I'd been a professional dancer when I discovered an amazing thing! As I consistently began to receive massage therapy with energy work to enhance my dancing, I began to feel phenomenal! I felt emotionally balanced and joyful. Physically I became healthier and more energized then I'd ever been in my life. I knew that this was how good health and well-being was supposed to feel like. I was simply gob-smacked. It became my personal mission to track my own joy through learning every tool I could and then share it with others.
As I let my dancing days go I became a certified massage therapist integrating various energy work techniques. I wanted others to feel the joy, vitality and well-being I felt too. When I began integrating energy work with an emphasis on Jin Shin Jyutsu I made even more significant progress in helping people to heal.
What made me a fervent believer in Jin Shin Jyutsu though was when I had a massive, stage four stroke. I was supposed to die that night and in the unlikely event that I did survive, my doctors said the damage would be so severe that I would be mentally and physically impaired. I would require round-the-clock care. Not only did I survive but I had no impairments! My doctors said I was a 'miracle girl'. (I can't argue with that!) I attribute this phenomenal healing to Jin Shin Jyutsu.
Now, I'm a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and self-help instructor. I've been helping people since 1991 and have pursued advanced training for PTSD and 'Critical Labels' (or serious, life-threatening conditions). This has been invaluable with those going through a mental, emotional or physical crisis. It's by creating harmony in these pivotal areas that we begin to heal on all levels.
I strive to help the whole person and not just their 'parts' by connecting heart, mind and body.
I have the best job in the world.
